"In the Wake of Poseidon" returns in a complete audio-only Blu-ray edition featuring 2025 mixes and rare recording sessions! King Crimson's iconic second album "In the Wake of Poseidon" is reissued as a comprehensive deluxe edition, following the acclaimed format of the 50th Anniversary Series. This new set includes Steven Wilson's brand-new 2025 mixes in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround, and stereo, as well as David Singleton's imaginative "Elemental Mix" - a bold reimagining of what the album might have been. Also featured is a high-resolution collection of rare and largely unreleased recording session tracks, all included on an audio-only Blu-ray disc. As with previous releases in the series, the Blu-ray is a European-pressed disc manufactured for worldwide release. The CD content - featuring Wilson's 2025 stereo mix and Singleton's Elemental Mix - is presented in Japan exclusively in the SHM-CD format. The package comes in a deluxe cardboard sleeve with PP coating. Additional materials include the original English booklet, a complete Japanese translation of the liner notes, new commentary written specifically for the Japanese edition, and an extra paper sleeve jacket. While the album was previously included as part of the "Sailors' Tales" box set during the 40th Anniversary era, this marks the first-ever standalone anniversary edition of "In the Wake of Poseidon."
